I am delighted to welcome you to the web page of the parish of Lower Killeavy. The parish lies to the west of Newry in South Armagh with its beautiful countryside famed for its rich cultural heritage and numerous prehistoric and early Christian sites.

There are 5 churches in the parish, 3 primary schools and 1 large secondary school. There are many sporting clubs offering Gaelic football, soccer, hurling, boxing etc. The area is rich in song and dance, poetry and drama. There is an active Parish Pastoral Council and each church has Special Ministers of Holy Communion, Ministers of the Word, choirs.
